Huge congratulations to our colleague Jade and her sister, who recently completed an incredible 26-mile fundraising challenge in support of Cancer Research UK.

Spending around 11 hours on the course, the pair tackled demanding terrain, aching muscles, relentless insects and challenging conditions. Despite the physical and mental test, they refused to give up and crossed the finish line together with an overwhelming sense of pride.

Reflecting on the experience, Jade said:

“It took everything we had just to make it round. We were both in pain before we even reached 10 kilometres, but making it over that finish line knowing we’d done our bit and raised money for such a great cause made every step worthwhile. It’s a genuine achievement for us, and we’re so happy to have accomplished it in aid of supporting Cancer Research UK.”

Their determination has already helped raise more than £540, with further donations still expected, bringing them ever closer to – and likely beyond – their £600 fundraising target.

Everyone at Carysil UK is incredibly proud of Jade’s commitment, resilience and generosity. Supporting important causes and giving back to the community are values we are passionate about, and Jade’s achievement is a fantastic example of that in action.
